There she blows... That's one hummer of a net, ain't nothing getting through that thing. As I said, I'd love to track one down somewhere, but I think that might be a little tough. Email me if you think you have a lead or cerainly if you have one! I really liked the bins of junk mail and the postal uniform the museum put in for display.
You can see the blown in insulation here really well. It's a little hard to tell because you have no reference, but that stuff is 2-3" thick. I'm taking it off my top to help in the summer which is more important than the pathetic winter here in NC. The insulation is very hard and comes out in big clumps if you jam something into it and pry it off. It's not really attached to the top, it sort of formed a hard shell along the paint, which is actually pristine underneath all of that junk. The shell layer peels off in sheets once you get down to it. |
